Join Angela Owens, Certified “Baby Wearing Educator.” In this presentation you will learn more about the history of babywearing, how to baby wear properly, and the significance of babywearing from birth up to at least 1 year.

Since 2001, Angela has practiced and researched the art of wearing your baby on your body to help promote attachment parenting and a healthy child rearing practices. Indigenous cultures have been babywearing for centuries. The proven benefits are numerous. Babies cry less when being worn, the Babywearer has hands are free and at the same time, this provides a source of security for both the baby and wearer. There are several baby wearing carriers out there on the market, learn how to best choose the right one for you…or that special mother to be. Come and learn more about my thoughts and experience with Whole Child Rearing Practices that have helped to restore my ideal parenting and as well as shape a fruitful foundation of love and security for all children including my own sons.

Latifa Ali, a native to Roxbury, MA. created Nurrudeen which name means “light” and “way of life.” As a practitioner, one may expect to become more energized, centered, balanced to benefit naturally with the ebb and flow of universe with use.
